How to scan with an iPhone: it turns out it’s straightforward. Those who don’t have a scanner in your house will find this very useful! Documents are scanned to make them into digital data, which can be used to make things. While a document scanner is used to scan documents, it is also a tool. The scanner can scan many documents at once (for the ADF type).
You no longer need to use a big scanner. The use of mobile phone technology has made it easier and more practical to scan documents.
You can use the Notes app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to scan and sign documents.
It is best to put the document(s) on a flat surface in a well-lit place. Open the Notes app. You can either start a new note or open an old one. I made a folder called “Scanned Documents” to store and quickly find anything I’ve scanned and keep it safe.

1. Go to the Notes app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
2. Make a new note.
3. Tap On camera button Icon (When you don’t have a keyboard open, you’ll see a camera button at the bottom of the screen. You can tap it)
4. Tap On Scan Document
5. Place The Document you want to scan in view of the camera
As soon as you’re done, click on Scan Documents again.
6. It’s time to put the thing you want to scan right next to the camera.
Auto is in the top right corner. It will automatically frame and scan your document when this option is chosen.
7. For manual mode, line the document up (a yellow box will appear around it), then press the shutter button to take a picture.
The scan is in the bottom left corner. Tap on the crop tool.
At this point, you can move each corner to change the way your scan is done.
8 Press “Done.
Then, click “Save.”
Open the camera on your iPhone or iPad. The shutter button is at the bottom of the screen. Please don’t push it yet. Instead, follow the screen prompts. To get the best results, hold your device right above the paper.
Camera: As the camera starts scanning, a yellow box will appear on the screen. The device will give you advice like “get closer” as it scans for the edges and corners of a piece of paper. When it recognizes the whole document, it will automatically picture it. if your iPhone can’t find the document, you can press the shutter button to get it to look for it
A small thumbnail of each page will show in the bottom-left corner, and the scanner will stay open so that it can scan more pages. It’s time to save.
Make adjustments to get the perfect scan.
To make changes after you scan a document, make sure the corners are defined. You can change color schemes or rotate them. You can also add more pages or make it bigger.
All of the editing tools are at the very bottom of the screen when you open a document. Use the crop tool to change the corners or cut out a part of the document if you don’t want that information to be there.
You can use the crop tool by putting your finger near the small circle that doubles as a magnifying glass at the top and bottom of each page. That way, you will see your changes better instead of having them hidden.
You can sign, share, or save your scanned paper.
This means that you can do many different things now that the document has been scanned and edited. You can keep it in the Notes app for later, or you can sign and send it.
To open the share sheet when you’re looking at a document:
- Click the share button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- If you want to add your signature, scroll down and click the Markup button. You can draw, write, add text, or sign your name with the tool.
- Tap the “+” sign to see all of the tools.
As soon as you’re done signing or annotating the document, you can email it, save it to the Files app, or treat it like any other document on your iPhone or iPad. You can also treat it like any other document when you’re done.
You can also use the Mail app to scan a paper. Open the mail app. Make a new email. Hold down the content box until the black box appears, and then press and hold. Tap the right arrow until you see “Scan Document.” Then, tap Save to save the document. You can then send the scan from Mail.
